GOOD & BAD PLANETS IN HOROSCOPE

Normally people think of certain planets as bad and certain planets as good. Ex. people are afraid of hearing about Saturn (Shani) as its associated with bad while people normally think of Jupiter (Guru) as good. However in reality this is not completely correct. Each planet has to deliver certain results in a horoscope and hence according to a horoscope a certain planet will deliver a good or a bad result. For example for Tula Ascendant (Lagna) Saturn or Shani is supposed to be Yogkaraka. So for Tula lagna normally Shani would give good results. Where as for Capricorn (Makar) Ascendant (Lagna) Jupiter is lord of 3rd and 12th house and hence will deliver bad results unless it is posted in bad houses of horoscope. So you can see how the commonly associated behavior of planets are not actually correct with respect to each horoscope.
However, having said that there must be some truth in the common beliefs and that comes from the way these planets deliver the results. So with the same examples let us look at how Shani and Guru will deliver the results. So for Tula Lagna, Shani being yogkaraka will deliver finally good results but the way it will take you to the top, you will not like it. So it will make you work very hard, will create lots of hurdles in your path so that you learn your life's lessons and after that only it will take you to peak of sucess. Shani will deliver good results to you the hard way. On the other hand if Jupiter is bad for your Lagna, it will deliver bad results but you will not feel the pain till the end result and by that time it would be too late...in fact you may think good is happening and like it only to realise much later that it wasnt good after all.
So which planets are good for you will depend on your Lagna as well as how they are placed in your individual charts.
